    Black History Month was marked in a very special way Wednesday. The president and the first lady attended the ground breaking for the National Museum of African-American History and Culture on the National Mall, where Martin Luther King's "I have a dream" speech still echoes.

James Monroe Grave Site, Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, VA

 

Each year, the James Monroe Memorial Foundation honors President James Monroe with a grave site memorial celebration in Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia.  We hope that you will join us in remembering this great statesman.

 

The next celebration will be in April of 2012 at Hollywood Cemetery, 412 South Cherry St, Richmond, VA.  Please check back for updated day and time.
